Description
The Epiphone ES-335 Semi-Hollow in Cherry brings one of the most versatile electric guitar designs into an accessible, gig-ready package. Built for players who want the warmth and resonance of a semi-hollow guitar without giving up the focus and sustain needed for rock, the ES-335 is equally comfortable handling blues, jazz, soul, indie, and classic rock. The gloss Cherry finish and traditional double-cutaway shape keep the look firmly rooted in the model's late-'50s heritage.
The five-ply maple and poplar body uses a solid maple centerblock, adding sustain and helping control unwanted feedback when playing at higher volumes. A set mahogany neck with a Rounded C profile is paired with a bound rosewood fingerboard, 12" radius, and 22 medium jumbo frets for a comfortable balance between chord work and lead playing. A pair of Alnico Classic PRO humbuckers delivers the broad tonal range that makes the ES-335 format so useful, with dedicated volume and tone controls for each pickup and CTS potentiometers for precise adjustment.
Grover Rotomatic tuners, a Graph Tech nut, and the LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge and Stop Bar provide a dependable hardware setup with adjustable intonation and solid tuning stability. Whether it's being used as a primary gigging guitar or a versatile studio instrument, we think this ES-335 is a strong choice for players who want classic semi-hollow feel and sound with practical modern appointments.
