The JHS Wanderer 2-in-1 Overdrive Pedal puts two of JHS's most established drive circuits, the Morning Glory V4 and NOTAKLÖN, into one compact enclosure without locking you into a fixed two-pedal setup. It's a particularly smart fit for gigging players, switcher-based rigs, or anyone who already likes pairing a Bluesbreaker-style drive with a Klon-style circuit. You can run them together, change their order, or use the individual inputs and outputs to treat each side as a completely separate pedal.
The Morning Glory side gives you its familiar open, amp-like overdrive with Volume, Drive, and Tone controls, plus a high-gain mode and Bright Cut switch. The NOTAKLÖN side covers everything from up to +16dB of clean boost to higher-gain overdrive, with Volume, Gain, and Treble controls. Its +/- toggle engages the Shamrock Mod for +4dB of additional gain, increased midrange, and another hard-clipping stage. Each circuit also has its own Red Remote jack, so you can remotely access the Morning Glory high-gain mode and NOTAKLÖN Shamrock Mod. That effectively gives you four distinct gain stages without having to reach down and change settings.
What makes the Wanderer especially useful is the routing. Use the main input and output and the center Order toggle determines which drive comes first. Use all four individual I/O jacks and the circuits operate independently, letting you place other effects between them or assign each drive to a separate loop on your switcher. Top-mounted jacks help keep the footprint manageable, and silent soft-touch switching with buffered bypass makes it ready for a working pedalboard. We like this one because it isn't simply two popular drives sharing a box. The independent routing and remote switching actually solve some of the compromises that normally come with a 2-in-1 pedal.
