Here's the Epiphone Inspired by Gibson Custom 1963 Dove Reissue in Natural; a solid pick if you're after a bright, clear, and balanced acoustic that's easy to spot on stage. The Dove's a classic for a reason, and this reissue is great for players who want iconic looks, tight maple tone, and reliable performance for modern use. It's right at home whether you're a singer-songwriter, play in a band, or just want something that stands out.
This model features a thermally aged solid spruce top with traditional scalloped X-bracing and solid, figured maple back and sides. The tone has that signature maple brightness but still holds some low-end warmth, so it's versatile for a wide range of styles. The one-piece, thermally aged mahogany neck has a comfortable rounded profile, while the bound Indian rosewood fingerboard has 20 frets and split parallelogram mother-of-pearl inlays. You also get vintage touches like multi-ply body binding, a dove-inlaid rosewood bridge, and the unmistakable Dove pickguard. Kluson Waffleback tuners with metal keystone buttons keep your tuning stable, and the built-in L.R. Baggs Element Bronze VTC pickup system is ready for stage or studio, with easy soundhole-mounted controls.
It plays easily, holds tuning well, and comes with a Red Line-inspired hardshell case to keep it protected on the go. We've found this Dove Reissue to be a real workhorse that doesn't skimp on style or sound.
