The EVH Striped Series Maple in Red with Black Stripes keeps things direct and aggressive. If you want that classic EVH-inspired look with a simple, high-output setup, this one delivers without overcomplicating anything. The red with black stripes finish is instantly recognizable, but it's the feel and response that make it a serious rock guitar.
The basswood body keeps the weight comfortable and balanced, while the bolt-on maple neck and maple fingerboard give you that bright, snappy attack with plenty of clarity under gain. The 12" radius and 22 jumbo frets make bends smooth and chords easy to grip. A single EVH Wolfgang humbucker in the bridge position pushes strong mids and tight lows straight into your amp. The Floyd Rose Special double-locking tremolo and Floyd Rose R2 locking nut provide tuning stability when you lean into dive bombs or wide vibrato.
It's a straightforward layout with just one volume control, nothing to distract you from playing. The maple neck has a fast feel, and the hardware is built to handle real stage use. We like this one because it captures that iconic visual style while keeping the tone and performance focused and reliable.
