1962 was another groundbreaking year for the Fender bass that started it all. The classic American Vintage '62 Precision Bass features a wide-profile maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, tortoise shell pickguard over a 3-tone sunburst alder body & nitrocellulose lacquer finish. Comfy feel & rich, robust tones make this P-Bass a sure-fire winner! Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it's ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings along with scratches.
Neck: Maple neck with rosewood fingerboard & cream dot inlays. Frets are clean with no wear. Fender open-gear "clover" tuners with round string tree. 1.75" nut width; 34" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Contoured, solid alder body in sunburst finish. Top-loading bridge with four threaded saddles & original bridge cover included. 4-ply tortoise pickguard with black tugbar & nickel/chrome hardware. Bass weighs 8 lbs 2.8 oz.
Electronics: P-Bass split single coil with black covers & original chrome cover included. Master volume & tone controls with knurled knobs. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Fender hardshell case included.
