Description
A true vintage D-28 offering a warm, rich, woody tone. She shows some road wear, but around here we just call that experience & character. Perfect for any musical setting & ready to play upon arrival thanks to a pro set up from the experts here at Cream City Music.
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. Overall the guitar has a cool, authentic vintage look to it with a great vibe & beautiful patina.
Neck: Soft V-shape mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. The previous owner put on "mother of pearl" vine decals in the fingerboard & a floral one on the front of the headstock. They look great so we left them, but they can be removed. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Rosewood headstock overlay with diamond volute & Grover Rotomatic tuners. 1 11/16" nut width; 25.4" scale length. Neck is straight & plays well.
Body: Double-bound, square shoulder dreadnought. Solid spruce top with black pickguard & multi-ring rosette. Ebony bridge with cream bridge pins. The original rosewood bridge plate was a bit chewed up, so our tech added a maple overlay for strength. Solid Indian rosewood back & sides with checkered center strip. There are no electronics & the guitar weighs 4 lbs 10.9 oz.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
