Description
The Epiphone ES-335 Figured Semi-Hollow in Raspberry Tea Burst takes the classic ES-335 formula and gives it a more visually distinctive presentation without losing the versatility that made the design a standard. Its semi-hollow construction, figured maple veneer, and Alnico Classic PRO humbuckers make it a strong choice for players moving between blues, jazz, country, rock, and studio work where one guitar needs to cover a wide range of sounds. The warm Raspberry Tea Burst finish puts the figured grain front and center while retaining the traditional character that suits the ES-335 shape.
The five-ply maple and poplar body is dressed with figured maple veneer and built around a solid maple centerblock, which adds sustain and helps keep feedback under control at higher stage volumes. A set mahogany neck provides a comfortable, substantial feel, while the rosewood fingerboard, 12" radius, and 22 medium jumbo frets work equally well for chord playing and expressive bends. Epiphone Alnico Classic PRO humbuckers provide a full, balanced voice, with individual volume and tone controls using CTS potentiometers for plenty of control when dialing in clean, driven, or blended pickup sounds.
Epiphone Deluxe tuners, a Graph Tech nut, and the LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge and Stop Bar provide a straightforward, dependable hardware setup with easy intonation adjustment and solid tuning stability. We think the ES-335 Figured is an excellent option for players who already appreciate the versatility of a 335 but want a more distinctive instrument without straying from the design that made it such an enduring workhorse.
